High Quality Peloton Bike & Bike+ Idler Pulley Tensioner Bearings

My lady has a peloton that had some clicking bearing noise and my immediate searches came up with the flywheel hub. I ordered that and as soon as I removed the belt shield to start the replacement process I could tell noise was coming from the idler pulley as well. I replaced the flywheel assembly with no issue following the video and when all said and done it was quieter but didn’t get rid of the noise so I ordered the idler assembly. I followed the video again and it went in with no issue in under 10 minutes but when I cranked the pedal the belt immediately drifter towards the right side of the bike and was grinding on the bracket I just replaced. Now this was at about 11pm because I’ve got two little ones and can’t work on anything until they are asleep and my lady was telling me about how she couldn’t wait to do this ride in the morning so needless to say I had to figure it out. After following the video over and over and making sure I had everything in the right place and followed the same order I searched all over and finally found a post saying you would have to put a heavy duty screwdriver or some type of rod into the assembly and bend it to adjust the bearing so it would stay in alignment. It took some pressure but after about 5 minutes of trying to slowly bend it little by little I got the belt staying in the center and not rubbing. So the part was super simple to replace and it fixed my bearing noise problem it just took way longer to find the solution to the misalignment and I wish it would’ve shown that as a possibility in the video.

I ordered these while I had everything else apart. (Replaced Front Hub and Bottom Bracket) This added about 10 minutes of work to that effort. Very easy with the snap ring expander. I put a thin film of Phil grease on the fitting the bearings fit onto. Gave me some peace of mind that I won't be tearing my Bike+ apart again for a long time.
I REALLY suggest you find a way to manage the path of sweat. Part failure isn't really the fault of the part as much as the overall Peloton design. I use a short piece of PVC pipe with rubber fittings on each end with a towel draped over it to shed sweat away from that whole problem area where ALL the sweat goes.
You have to be crafty to keep your Peloton alive. A better design would prevent this.

I bought the bearings alone having watched the video that made it look easy to pull the old bearings. It was NOT easy. They were completely rusted in place and took a couple hours with an angle grinder, hammer, torch, and lots of profanity to remove.

Just buy the whole assembly and save yourself the struggle.

Parts arrived in soft packaging ripped. I assume this is from a sorting machine. Bearings missing. Refund process and troubleshooting is cryptic. Should have gone through OnePeloton Vs 3rd party. Main hub/axle replacement part still pending arrival over 2 weeks. Just a waste of time.
