When you ride a Peloton Bike your sweat all goes straight down to the crank and over the belt and handlebars. The bottom bracket doesn't work with the original dust covers and there's no locking ring. It relies only on the Loctite. Because sweat finds its way into everything on a Peloton I applied Phil waterproof grease to the threads (Same stuff I have used for 40 years on my road bikes). That will probably interfere with the Loctite. If it loosens up I will know that it was because of the grease. I do see that there's enough thread exposed to put the old lock ring on. On the fixed cup side there isn't any flange to tighten the cup against the bottom bracket shell so I turned it in as far as I could and hope that pressure from the other side is enough. ...so while the bearings are probably better and there most likely won't be enough force to unthread/loosen the cups I feel like that could have been thought through a little better. Fixed up on the right should have a flange. Adjustable depth cup on the left should come with a lock ring. I don't think if you supply a bottom bracket you expect the user to use parts from the old part.
Interested if ThePeloDoctor has anything to say about that. I did give it a 5 star review but grease on the threads is important as this area gets hit with a lot of sweat and I don't like relying on Loctite instead of a physical tightening/locking design.

The only difficult part (not really difficult) was getting the old hub off. I put the wrench on the bolt head and stood the flywheel up vertically and just bounced my body weight down on the allen wrench to get it to break free. Also hit the back of the bolt with a little WD-40. New parts from PeloDoctor seem better quality. Bike is dead silent again like the day I got it!

I ordered these while I had everything else apart. (Replaced Front Hub and Bottom Bracket) This added about 10 minutes of work to that effort. Very easy with the snap ring expander. I put a thin film of Phil grease on the fitting the bearings fit onto. Gave me some peace of mind that I won't be tearing my Bike+ apart again for a long time.
I REALLY suggest you find a way to manage the path of sweat. Part failure isn't really the fault of the part as much as the overall Peloton design. I use a short piece of PVC pipe with rubber fittings on each end with a towel draped over it to shed sweat away from that whole problem area where ALL the sweat goes.
You have to be crafty to keep your Peloton alive. A better design would prevent this.

Great product

Basically what the title says, video was easy to follow and it was very simple to replace. Shipping was less than a week. Going to use them again as other things need replacing.

The product arrived quickly. Very easy to remove the old hub and replace with the new one thanks to the video on the product page.
Completely my fault but I managed to scratch it by putting the wrong screws into the guard that covers the cadence sensor. It does not affect the performance though but my advice would be to keep the screws with each individual piece you take off the bike.
Good to enjoy a smooth and quiet ride again and will use this company again the next time any components need replacing.

Removed old original seat and replaced withe new wider one. What a difference! I'm not small - 6'2" and over 250 lbs. I immediately noticed that my seated heavy resistance (over 70) throughput when up and my heart rate wasn't maxing out. I wish that I'd done this ages ago.

Impressed with the quality of the part. The “how to video” was very easy to follow and made for easy installation.

The part arrived as promised and replacement was manageable using the video (I would consider myself moderately "handy"). It's great to not hear that clicking noise anymore!

Got the new pair on and jumped on the bike +. Right clipped in with the usual clang. No sound on the left, but it was firmly clipped in. I did 3 rides with no issues. Next ride my left clanged in which I've always found to be audibly reassuring.

Quality product, relatively easy to install (watch the video a few times beforehand), and the bike is now whisper quiet in use. Not only is it quieter, but pedaling is now so much smoother that workouts seem easier. Well worth the cost.

I bought the bearings alone having watched the video that made it look easy to pull the old bearings. It was NOT easy. They were completely rusted in place and took a couple hours with an angle grinder, hammer, torch, and lots of profanity to remove.

Just buy the whole assembly and save yourself the struggle.

The gear mechanism between the pedals (lower bracket is the technical part name) was making squeaking and grinding sounds. I ordered the replacement part from Peloton (I didn't know about Pelodoctor). When Peloton notified me of the order being sent, they sent a YouTube video link telling me how to replace the part.

That's where PeloDoctor came in. The video was produced by Pelodoctor, and the video explained how to replace the part and what TOOLS I would need. TOOlKIT: you will need one do replace the part properly. Peloton does not sell the tool kit, so if you want to do the repair yourself, order the kit (currently about $175) from Pelodoctor.

OF COURSE, you may was well purchase the gear/bracket assembly from PeloDoctor too if you are ordering the repair kit.
